In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful "Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul, unless for a soul, or for corruption in the land, it is as if he had killed humankind entirely" (The Holy Quran, Al-Ma-ida, 5: 32). "And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell, wherein he will abide eternally, and Allah has become angry with him, and has cursed him, and has prepared for him a great torment" (Al-Nisa, 4: 93). "If you do good, you do good for yourselves; and if you do evil, (you do it) to yourselves" (Al-Isra, 17: 7). *** While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son). After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD. By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD. So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents. No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians. No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since. This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948. The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

According to the Lebanese National News Agency, an Israeli drone struck a small pickup truck on the outskirts of Hirmil, resulting in the killing of two individuals. The attack marks another violation of the ceasefire agreement, which came into effect on November 27 last year. Since the ceasefire began, more than 80 people have been killed and others injured, while Israel continues to delay the withdrawal of its forces from Lebanese territory. M.N. Two people killed in an Israeli raid in eastern Lebanon Thursday 27-February-2025 BEIRUT, (PIC) Two people were killed on Thursday in a new Israeli airstrike in northwestern Lebanon despite the ceasefire agreement. An Israeli warplane fired three missiles into a small truck in the Al-Doura neighborhood in Hirmil city, according to witnesses. The state news agency, NNA, said two victims were killed in the attack. A similar attack targeted a car in eastern Lebanon on Wednesday, killing one person, whom the Israeli army said was a member of the Lebanese resistance group, 'Hizbullah. In a separate attack, the army said it struck a Hezbollah observation post in the 'Aynata area in the Bint Jubail district of southern Lebanon. The attack Thursday came in violation of a ceasefire agreement that has been in place since Nov. 27, ending months of Israeli aggression on Lebanon. *** Hundreds of Palestinians, including children and women, released from Israeli jails Thursday 27-February-2025 WEST BANK, (PIC) The Palestinian resistance in Gaza handed over the bodies of four Israeli captives to the Red Cross early Thursday simultaneously in exchange for the release of hundreds of Palestinian prisoners, days before the first phase of the ceasefire agreement expires. According to the Hebrew media, the 'Hamas Movement handed the captives’ bodies to the Red Cross. Israel said the caskets were delivered with the help of Egyptian mediators through an Israeli crossing. At around the same time, a Red Cross convoy carrying dozens of released Palestinian prisoners left the Israeli Ofer prison and headed for the West Bank town of Baitunia, where hundreds of well-wishers jostled for a glimpse of the bus as it arrived. Friends and families greeted the released prisoners, hugging them and snapping photos. The released prisoners wore Israeli prison service T-shirts containing racist slurs, but they started taking them off and setting them on fire. Hours later, buses carrying hundreds of other Palestinian prisoners arrived in the Gaza city of Khan Yunis, with some men kissing the ground as they emerged from the buses. According to Al Jazeera satellite channel, 456 prisoners arrived in Gaza. Earlier, the Israeli occupation authority released 42 prisoners to the West Bank and deported 97 others to Egypt. However, the Asra Media Office said earlier that a seventh group of 642 Palestinian prisoners, including 457 from Gaza and 46 women and children, are slated for release at dawn hours. Asra Media added that 42 prisoners, including 151 serving life and long sentences, will also be released to the West Bank and east Jerusalem and 97 others will be deported to Egypt. In this regard, the Hamas Movement reaffirmed that “the only way for the release of Israeli captives is through negotiation and the Israeli government’s respect for what has been agreed upon.” Following the release of hundreds of Palestinian prisoners today, Hamas reiterated its full commitment to the provisions of the ceasefire agreement and its readiness to engage in talks over the second phase of the deal. The Movement warned any attempt by Israeli premier Benjamin Netanyahu and his government to backtrack on the agreement or obstruct its implementation would only lead to more suffering for the captives and their families. *** Israel acknowledges ‘complete failure’ on October 7 in military probe Thursday 27-February-2025 GAZA, (PIC) The internal Israeli army probe into the October 7 event acknowledged the military’s “complete failure” to prevent the assault. “October 7 was a complete failure; the military failed in fulfilling its mission to protect Israeli civilians,” the official said, briefing reporters about the report’s contents on condition of anonymity. “Too many civilians died that day, asking themselves in their hearts or out loud, where was the Israeli military?” “The military failed to protect Israeli citizens. The Gaza Division was overrun in the early hours of the war, as terrorists took control and carried out massacres in the communities and roads in the area,” the military said in the summary of the report released to journalists. Israel’s army chief has said he takes full responsibility for failing to prevent the October 7 attack. “The responsibility is mine. I was the commander of the army on October 7th, and I also bear the full responsibility for all of you,” Herzi Halevi, who had already resigned last month citing the October 7 “failure”, said in a video statement released by the military. Commenting on the report, Hamas spokesman 'Hazem Qassim said that “the Israeli failure revealed by the Israeli investigations confirms the superiority of the Palestinian will over the Israeli entire military machine.” Qassim added that the report also confirms “the ability of the security mind of the Qassam Brigades (the armed wing of Hamas Movement) to defeat all the Israeli security services.” He stressed that “the arrogance of the colonizer will continue to prevent him from seeing the truth of the great Palestinian people who seek to obtain their freedom and independence.” *** 'Hamas: Katz’s statements are misleading and aim to evade ceasefire obligations Thursday 27-February-2025 GAZA, (PIC) The Palestinian Resistance Movement, 'Hamas, said that the Israeli war minister Yisrael Katz’s statements, claiming that 'Hamas planned to attack the Israeli occupation forces and settlements during the ceasefire period, are misleading and baseless, stressing that these allegations come in the context of the Israeli occupation regime’s attempts to evade its obligations stipulated in the ceasefire agreement. 'Hamas added, in a statement on Thursday, that Katz’s statements on keeping the border area between Gaza and Egypt, known as the Salahuddeen (Philadelphi) axis, as a buffer zone is, a clear violation of the ceasefire agreement, and an attempt to fabricate pretexts to disrupt and thwart the ceasefire deal. 'Hamas reiterated its full commitment to the ceasefire agreement, with all its details and provisions, and confirmed its readiness to start negotiations for the second phase of the agreement. The Movement also stressed that the mediators and the international community as well as all relevant parties need to take immediate and serious action to compel the Israeli occupation authority to abide by the obligations and provisions of the agreement and exert efforts to prevent Israeli premier Benjamin Netanyahu and his criminal government from disrupting and thwarting the agreement. *** Egypt rejects the Israeli proposal to run Gaza, reiterates need for lasting solution to conflict Thursday 27-February-2025 CAIRO, (PIC) Egypt on Wednesday firmly dismissed any proposal suggesting it take over the administration of the Gaza Strip temporarily, reiterating its unwavering commitment to a comprehensive and lasting solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. “Any proposals that circumvent the fundamentals of the Egyptian and Arab position and the sound foundations for dealing with the essence of the conflict are rejected and unacceptable,” Egypt’s official Middle East News Agency quoted Egyptian foreign ministry spokesman Tameem Khalaf as saying. Khalaf described such proposals as “half solutions” that would only perpetuate the cycles of conflict rather than achieving permanent peace. He underscored the geographical contiguity of the Palestinian territories, stressing the “organic connection between the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including east Jerusalem, constitutes the land of the future Palestinian state, which must be under full Palestinian sovereignty and administration.” Israeli opposition leader Yair proposed on Tuesday that Egypt assume administrative control of the Gaza Strip for at least eight years in exchange for the international community settling its foreign debt.
*** ****** Death toll in Gaza climbs to 48,365 Thursday 27-February-2025 GAZA, (PIC) During the past 48 hours, hospitals in the Gaza Strip received the bodies of 17 martyrs, who were reported missing during the war. According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza on Thursday, the remains of these martyrs were recovered from the rubble of destroyed homes. 19 citizens were also injured by Israeli attacks or unexploded ordnance during the past hours. The new fatalities increased the death toll from the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza, which started on October 7, 2023, to 48,365 martyrs, the health ministry stated. The ministry added that the number of the wounded also surged to 111,780 people. Meanwhile, efforts are underway to recover the bodies of more martyrs who are still missing in different areas of the Gaza Strip. *** The Euro-Med Monitor documents shocking torture crimes against released prisoners Thursday 27-February-2025 GAZA, (PIC) The Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor revealed the tragic and shocking health condition of the Palestinian prisoners released in the seventh batch of the prisoners’ exchange deal between Israel and Hamas. In a statement on Thursday, the Monitor confirmed that the traces of torture were evident on the prisoners’ frail bodies, reflecting the extent of the systematic crimes and inhumane treatment they endured, which exceeded all moral and legal boundaries. It said, “All evidence indicates that Israel continues to use torture as a weapon to intimidate and persecute prisoners and detainees and to break their will until the last moments of their detention.” The Monitor pointed out that its field team documented serious injuries among the prisoners and detainees, including amputations and severe swelling resulting from torture, in addition to extreme weakness and fatigue. It added that the released prisoners revealed that they had been subjected to brutal beatings, abuse, and continuous threats right up to the last moments before their release, despite the lack of any specific charges against the majority of them. The rights group emphasized that the brutal torture and deliberate medical neglect faced by prisoners and detainees have reached shocking levels that surpass all moral and legal limits. It noted that Israel’s ongoing use of brutal torture and deliberate medical neglect against Palestinian prisoners and detainees proves its systematic intent to intimidate them and break their will. The Monitor stressed that these actions constitute blatant war crimes and crimes against humanity, as reliable information has indicated the death of dozens of prisoners inside Israeli prisons and detention centers, while Israel continues to hide any data related to them. It called on all concerned countries and organizations to take immediate and decisive action to stop these systematic crimes, emphasizing the need to intensify human rights and media efforts to highlight the suffering of Palestinian prisoners and detainees, and to work towards holding the occupiers accountable and forcing them to end these ongoing violations. The traces of torture and abuse on the bodies of the released Palestinian prisoners were evident in the deep scars covering their hands and feet, in addition to the swellings that appeared in some parts of their bodies. The physical status of the released prisoners showed that they had been deprived of adequate food throughout their detention, with testimonies confirming that they received minimal amounts of food, while some were denied food and sleep as a form of harsh and deliberate punishment. The Israeli occupation authorities released the seventh batch of prisoners in the “Flood of Freedom” deal early Thursday, as part of the ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreements with the Palestinian resistance in Gaza Strip, after delaying their release for almost a week. The seventh batch of the exchange deal included “the release of 642 prisoners, among them: 151 prisoners serving life sentences and long sentences, distributed as follows: 43 prisoners will be released to the West Bank and Jerusalem, 97 prisoners will be deported abroad, 11 prisoners from Gaza who were arrested before October 7, 2023, according to the Asra Media Office, in addition to 445 prisoners from Gaza detainees after October 7 and 46 female and child prisoners.” *** Gaza Civil Defense evacuates three towers after partial collapse Thursday 27-February-2025 GAZA, (PIC) The Civil Defense in the Gaza Strip announced the evacuation of three residential towers northwest of Gaza City after a partial collapse in one of the towers. The Civil Defense explained in a statement on Wednesday evening that its crews evacuated late Tuesday night Towers 8, 10 and 11 of the Al-Karama Towers northwest of Gaza City, after a partial collapse in Tower 9, which was uninhabited, without any injuries being recorded. The Civil Defense warned the residents of the towers not to live in their apartments or even approach them due their exposure to severe damage and becoming unlivable due to Israeli relentless airstrikes during the war. It also called on those in the displaced tents adjacent to the towers to evacuate the place due to potential collapse. The Civil Defense renewed its appeal to the citizens not to return and live in the homes and buildings targeted by the Israeli occupation army, as they constitute a real risk to their lives. *** ý*** Killing, Injuring, and Abduction of Palestinians in the West Bank by Israeli Occupation Regime Forces ***ý Israeli occupation regime special force assassinates resistance fighter, kidnaps another in Nablus Thursday 27-February-2025 NABLUS, (PIC) A special Israeli occupation force assassinated a Palestinian resistance fighter and kidnapped another one after besieging a house in Balata refugee camp east of Nablus on Thursday, while two others were injured by Israeli live bullets, whereas an elderly man was beaten, amid armed clashes. The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that it was informed by the General Authority for Civil Affairs of the martyrdom of the young man Ma'hmoud Sanaqra, 25, by Israeli gunfire in the Balata refugee camp. Local sources reported that a special Israeli force stormed the Balata refugee camp and besieged a house in the Maghdousha neighborhood, followed by military reinforcements, then assassinated a young man and detained his body. The sources explained that the martyr Sanaqra is the brother of the two martyrs A'hmed and Ibraeeim Sanaqra, who were martyred a few years ago. The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that its crews transported three people to the hospital, after they had been shot or beaten at the hands of Israeli occupation forces during their storming of Balata refugee camp, including a young man, 32, who was shot in the thigh with live bullets, a child shot in the hand and abdomen with live bullets, and an elderly man, 68, who was beaten severely. The Israeli occupation forces also kidnapped the young man, Rayyan Jamal Rayyan, before withdrawing from the camp, which witnessed armed clashes with resistance fighters and the detonation of an explosive device in Israeli occupation vehicles. *** Palestinian man killed following car ramming incident Thursday 27-February-2025 Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), (PIC) A Palestinian man was shot and killed following a stabbing and car-ramming attack in Hadera town, within the Green Line, on Thursday evening. At least 11 Israelis were injured in the incident, three of them were in serious condition. “At 16:17 today, Israel Police’s emergency dispatch received reports of a ramming attack at Karkur Junction, where a vehicle struck multiple civilians waiting at a bus stop,” Israeli police said in a statement. Police said 11 people, including a police officer, were wounded, and that three of them were in serious condition. The suspect was a “53-year-old Palestinian from the Jenin area, [who] was residing in Israel unlawfully with his family,” the police statement added. “The circumstances of his presence in Israel are under investigation,” the police said, adding that “preliminary findings indicate that he deliberately targeted civilians waiting at a bus stop.” *** Israeli occupation forces shoot and injure Palestinian youth in Bait Rima RAMALLAH, February 27, 2025 (WAFA) – A Palestinian youth was shot and injured by Israeli occupation forces on Thursday evening during an Israeli military incursion into the town of Bait Rima, north of Ramallah. WAFA correspondent reported that Israeli troops opened fire on the young man, hitting him in the leg with live ammunition. He was detained for a short period before being handed over to a Palestinian ambulance for medical treatment. Confrontations erupted following the Israeli military raid on the town, during which soldiers stormed the homes of recently released Palestinian detainees—Tamir Al-Rimawi, Waseem Al-Rimawi, and Omar Sameer Al-Rimawi. The three were freed earlier in the day and deported to Egypt as part of the seventh batch of the exchange deal under the Gaza ceasefire agreement. Israeli forces also ordered shop owners in the town center to shut down their businesses during the raid. M.N. *** Israeli occupation forces shoot and kidnap young man in Nablus-governorate town NABLUS, February 27, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces Thursday evening shot and detained a young Palestinian man in Qusra town, south of the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, according to WAFA correspondent. He said that the occupying forces barged their way into the town and surrounded a house, at a time when sounds of gunfire could be heard from the direction of the house and additional military reinforcements were deployed in the town. He added that the heavily armed soldiers opened gunfire at Ibrahim Hasan, who was besieged in the house and rounded him up. There was no immediate information about the condition of his injury. The occupation forces frequently raid Palestinian houses almost daily across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for “wanted” Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents. These raids are conducted without a search warrant whenever and wherever the military chooses, in keeping with its sweeping arbitrary powers. Under Israeli military law army commanders have full executive, legislative, and judicial authority over 3 million Palestinians living in the West Bank. Palestinians have no say in how this authority is exercised. Earlier today, the occupation forces killed a Palestinian youth in a raid in the Balata refugee camp near Nablus. The Israeli occupation forces have been waging military aggression in the northern West Bank since January 21, killing at least 63 people and displacing tens of thousands. The aggression comes in parallel with tightened restrictions on Palestinians’ freedom of movement within the occupied West Bank through a complex combination of approximately 898 fixed and flying checkpoints and gates, including 18 gates that have been installed since the start of 2025 and 146 others installed in the aftermath of October 7, 2023, settler-only roads, over 200 military bases, and various other physical obstructions. Closures besides other measures, taken under the guise of security, are intended to entrench Israel’s 58-year-old military occupation of the West Bank and its settler colonial project which it enforces with routine and frequently deadly violence against Palestinians. K.F. *** Israeli occupation regime special forces raid Aree'ha (Jericho) city, amidst heavy military reinforcements Aree'ha (Jericho), February 27, 11, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation regime special forces raided today afternoon the city of Aree'ha (Jericho). Local sources said Israeli special units followed by military reinforcements sneaked their way into the neighborhoods of Sabi'ha and Al-Khidawi in the center of Aree'ha (Jericho), triggering confrontations. During the intense confrontations between the young men and the Israeli occupation forces, the Israeli occupation soldiers fired live ammunition, sound bombs and gas. They said that the occupying forces broke into several stores in the town, briefly held an employee, and verbally ordered the owners to refrain from building any additional floor or structure atop their stores. Meanwhile, the occupying forces conducted a raid in Salfeet and posted leaflets threatening the residents. K.F. *** Clashes flare up in West Bank Thursday 27-February-2025 WEST BANK, (PIC) Clashes with Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) erupted at dawn Thursday and overnight in the West Bank, coinciding with the release of the seventh batch of Palestinian prisoners in the prisoner exchange deal within the framework of the first phase of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza. The PIC correspondent reported that the clashes broke out while Israeli troops were storming Palestinian cities and towns in the northern and southern West Bank. Local sources explained that the clashes erupted in the Al-Masakin Al-Sha'biya neighborhood east of Nablus, adding that the IOFs opened fire at young men who were present in the area. IOFs soldiers stormed Nablus city from the 'Huwwara checkpoint and were deployed in various areas in the city, then they advanced into Balata Al-Balad east of the city and arrested a Palestinian woman to pressure her son to turn himself in, the sources added. Meanwhile, local sources said that resistance fighters targeted the invading forces with a heavy barrage of bullets on the University Street in the city. Also in the northern West Bank, a group of young men threw two Molotov cocktails at settlers’ vehicles between the town of 'Azzoun and the village of Nabi Elyas, east of Qalqilya, according to Israeli media. In Jenin, the IOFs stormed the town of Yamoun, south of Jenin, during the night, while continuing their aggression on the city and its refugee camp for the 38th day. For weeks, the cities of Jineen, Toulkarm, Toubas and their refugee camps have been subjected to a large-scale Israeli aggression that has resulted in the martyrdom of dozens of people and the displacement and destruction of tens of thousands, in addition to the extensive destruction of infrastructure. Clashes also erupted in the town of Beitunia, near Ramallah, with the start of the release of dozens of prisoners from the nearby Ofer prison. Other clashes took place in the city of Yatta, south of Al-Khaleel, where Israeli forces raided the homes of a number of prisoners. The overnight raids also affected the town of Bait Ummar, north of Al-Khalil, according to Palestinian sources. After October 7, 2023, the pace of Israeli attacks in the West Bank escalated, resulting in the martyrdom of 925 citizens, the injury of about 7,000, and the kidnapping of 14,500 others, according to official Palestinian data. *** Palestinian Government Communication Center publishes factsheet on ongoing Israeli aggression and forced displacement in northern West Bank RAMALLAH, February 27, 2025 (WAFA) – The Palestinian Government Communication Center issued a factsheet today on the ongoing Israeli aggression on the northern West Bank districts of Jenin and Tulkarm. For over a month, Israeli occupation forces have been conducting a military aggression on multiple areas of the northern West Bank, primarily targeting the cities and refugee camps of Jenin and Tulkarm. The aggression has resulted in significant casualties, mass displacement, and extensive destruction of infrastructure. Additionally, mass detentions continue across the West Bank, with thousands of Palestinians held under administrative detention without charge or trial. More than a month into Israel’s relentless military assault on the northern West Bank, the humanitarian crisis continues to deepen. The Israeli occupation aggression has forcibly displaced over 40,000 Palestinians so far, leaving behind widespread destruction in occupied northern West Bank cities and refugee camps. Last Friday, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu appeared in a military vest from Tulkarm Refugee Camp, threatening further escalation in the West Bank. His visit—staged in a Palestinian house whose residents had been forcibly displaced—symbolized the unprecedented targeting of refugee camps in the northern West Bank. Hours earlier, Israeli 'Defense' Minister Israel Katz was also photographed in the same camp, issuing similar threats of intensified attacks. In a grave escalation of Israel’s forced displacement policy, Katz announced on Sunday that 40,000 Palestinians have been uprooted from the Jenin, Tulkarm, and Nur Shams refugee camps due to Israel’s military operations. The aggression has expanded to include the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin, alongside the deployment of additional armored units—raising fears of further killings, mass displacement, and destruction. At the same time, the suspension of UNRWA’s humanitarian operations in these camps has exacerbated the crisis, leaving thousands of displaced families without essential aid, healthcare, and education. Signaling an intent to impose a new reality on the ground, Katz instructed Israeli occupying forces not to allow displaced Palestinians to return to the camps. He also declared that Israeli occupation forces would maintain an extended presence in Tulkarm and Jenin—with threats of further attacks on additional occupied West Bank governorates. Israel, the occupying Power, launched its military onslaught on the northern West Bank on January 21, 2025, beginning with Jenin and its refugee camp before expanding a week later to Tulkarm and its two camps (Tulkarm and Nur Shams). The aggression later spread to Tubas governorate, including the town of Tammun and the Al-Far’a refugee camp. While Israeli occupation forces withdrew from Tammun after a week and from Al-Far’a after ten days, their attacks on Jenin, Tulkarm, and surrounding refugee camps remain ongoing. Recent developments suggest an increasingly dire situation, as Israel’s prolonged military assault—now the longest in the West Bank since the Second Intifada over two decades ago—targets refugee camps with unprecedented intensity. This raises fears of even darker scenarios in the coming period. The Israeli military’s systematic destruction and demographic engineering of refugee camps represent an alarming attempt to liquidate and erase the Palestinian refugee issue. This attack on the camps coincides with Israel’s targeting of UNRWA, including its decision to ban the agency’s operations in Jerusalem at the start of this year—part of a wider effort to obstruct UNRWA’s humanitarian work in both the West Bank and Gaza Strip. The Hamas official expressed his belief that the people of Jerusalem would stand as an impregnable barrier in the face of the Israeli occupation and its plots that aim to expel them from their land. He urged the Palestinian masses to intensify their presence at the Aqsa Mosque during the holy month of Ramadan and stand strongly in the face of the Israeli attempts to displace them and Judaize their holy city. *** Illegal Israeli settlers set up mobile homes on Palestinian lands near Al-Khaleel (Hebron) Al-Khaleel (Hebron), February 27, 11, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists set up mobile homes on the lands of the town of Beit Ka'hil, northwest of Al-Khaleel (Hebron), in preparation for seizing them. Saydam made his comments during a meeting with the Representative of Japan to Palestine Ambassador Araike Katsuhiko in the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah. Saydam briefed Ambassador Katsuhiko on the recent developments in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip while stressing the need for the international community to intervene to counter the proposals to forcibly displace the Palestinian people, halt ongoing Israeli military aggression on the refugee camps in the northern West Bank, ensure protection for Palestinians, bring the genocidal war on Gaza to an end and resolve the Arab-Israeli ‘conflict’ in line with international law and the relevant United Nations resolutions. He commended Japan for providing over $2.5 billion in financial support as well as for the political support it has provided to Palestine since 1993 and stressed the need to continue such support pending the creation of the independent Palestinian state and attainment of freedom. Ambassador Katsuhiko reiterated his country’s unwavering position in support of the two-state solution in line with international law and the UN resolutions. K.F. *** Leaders of Malaysia, Columbia and South Africa say Gaza war proved international system a failure KUALA LUMPUR, February 27, 2025 (WAFA) – The leaders of Malaysia, Colombia, and South Africa have strongly criticized the ongoing Israeli genocide in Gaza, declaring that it has exposed the failure of the international system. In a joint article published Thursday by Foreign Policy magazine, Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, Colombian President Gustavo Petro, and South African President Cyril Ramaphosa described U.S. President Donald Trump's plans for Gaza as "ethnic cleansing" and a "flagrant violation of international law." The leaders began their article with a rhetorical question: "What remains of the international system?" They went on to argue that for over 500 days, Israel—backed by powerful nations providing diplomatic cover, military supplies, and political support—has systematically violated international law in Gaza. According to the three leaders, this "complicity" has dealt a devastating blow to the integrity of the UN Charter and its fundamental principles on human rights, sovereign equality, and the prohibition of genocide. The article further emphasized that any system allowing the killing of 61,000 people in Gaza cannot merely be described as failing but has already failed completely. M.N. *** ýRussia calls for upholding ceasefire and increasing aid to Gaza MOSCOW, February 27, 2025 (WAFA) – Russia has called for intensified international efforts to maintain the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip and to enhance the flow of humanitarian aid, including food and medical supplies, to the besieged enclave. The ministry also stressed the importance of increasing humanitarian assistance to alleviate the suffering of the population. M.N. *** UNRWA chief highlights ‘alarming spillover’ of Gaza war in West Bank Wednesday 26-February-2025 NEW YORK, (PIC) More than 50 people, including children, have been reported killed since the Israeli military operation started five weeks ago, said UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini on X. “The West Bank is becoming a battlefield: ordinary Palestinians are the first and most to suffer. This must end,” the UN official added. “Destruction of public infrastructure, bulldozing roads and access restrictions are commonplace. People’s lives have been turned upside down, bringing back traumas and loss,” he said. He further noted that around 40,000 people have been forced to flee their homes especially in refugee camps in the north. “This must end.” “More than 5,000 children who normally go to UNRWA schools have been deprived of education, some for over 10 weeks now.” “Patients cannot access healthcare, families are cut off from water, electricity & other basic services.” More and more people are relying on humanitarian aid at a time when aid agencies are overstretched and severely under resourced, he said. The Israeli occupation army began a major raid in the West Bank’s north over a month ago, just after a truce went into effect in the Gaza Strip. Israel has occupied the West Bank since 1967 and carries out regular raids against Palestinians, but the current offensive in the north is the longest continuous one in the territory in two decades. Israel on Sunday said its troops would remain for many months in refugee camps in the northern West Bank after tens of thousands of Palestinians living there were displaced by an intensifying, weeks-long military operation. *** The Euro-Med Monitor documents shocking torture crimes against released prisoners Thursday 27-February-2025 GAZA, (PIC) The Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor revealed the tragic and shocking health condition of the Palestinian prisoners released in the seventh batch of the prisoners’ exchange deal between Israel and 'Hamas. The seventh batch of the exchange deal included “the release of 642 prisoners, among them: 151 prisoners serving life sentences and long sentences, distributed as follows: 43 prisoners will be released to the West Bank and Jerusalem, 97 prisoners will be deported abroad, 11 prisoners from Gaza who were arrested before October 7, 2023, according to the Asra Media Office, in addition to 445 prisoners from Gaza detainees after October 7 and 46 female and child prisoners.” *** =============================================================================================================================== Editorial
